Hello, Everyone. This is a message to the membership of the PPAGLA, announcing the 2026 PPAGLA Softball Game on October 4, 2026, in Southgate. 

My name is Frederick M. Brown, and I am the creator of the PPAGLA softball game event. I want to reach out to all members and invite you to attend and support this event.  I specifically want to reach out to our retired membership.  Some members are in wheelchairs.  Some members use canes.  And some members have other physical difficulties.  We want you there at this softball game. 

The softball game is not just about running around the bases and hitting the ball to the outfield.  The PPAGLA softball game is about camaraderie and honoring our present and past membership.  This is the way that we all can come together for a day and enjoy ourselves.  If you are using a cane or a wheelchair, you can be an umpire at one of the three bases, so please do not feel that because softball is a physical game you cannot participate.  There is a place for you, and this is why I created this venue in the first place. 

Of course, we want everyone to participate, and that is the goal.  There is ample parking very close to the field and very convenient access.  There is covering for the bleachers so everyone can be out of the sun.  There is a snack bar very close to the softball field for food and water, and there are restroom facilities as well.  This is a first-class softball facility.  We had a great time last year.  We will have an even better time this year if you are there.  I will see you on October 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Southgate Park Sports Center, 9520 Hildreth Avenue,
