Attorney Craig B. Sanders of the Sanders Law Group in New York will be hosting our Legal Issues Seminar via Zoom at 7 p.m. PDT on Monday, April 24, 2023, as part of the PPAGLA’s Education mission.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from the experts! The firm has also advised other organizations, including the NYPPA, and is committed to helping working journalists protect their rights. Think about questions you want to ask!

He writes: “We know the challenges professional photographers are faced with each day and we are not only happy to educate but committed to doing so. Many photographers want to know the best way to protect their work from the time it is published, should they register their work with the US Copyright Office, and what the options are after an infringement is found.”

Excerpts from his Bio:  Craig Sanders is the founding partner of the Sanders Law Group and a senior trial attorney. During his more than 29-year career, Sanders has handled complex civil litigation matters throughout the nation’s federal courts. Focusing on intellectual property (copyright and trademark infringement litigation) as well consumer protection matters, Sanders oversees the firm’s Intellectual Property Department and Trial Department. Sanders is also well-versed in commercial litigation and has represented businesses in contract disputes, partnership dissolutions, shareholder disputes and derivative actions, breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims, and a host of other matters.
