Bessolo named to PPAGLA Board of Directors

September 1 - With the recent resignation of Board member Carlos Delgado, CBS' Bob Bessolo has been named to the PPAGLA Board of Directors. His term will end December 2012.

Bessolo was born and raised in Los Angeles. He started in news in 1977 at KCBS-TV (then KNXT). After a short run at KSL-TV in Salt Lake, he returned back to Los Angeles and eventually became KCBS-TVs first chief photographer. Bob previously served on the PPAGLA Board of Directors once in the 1990s.  In 1994, he joined CBS News in affiliate services (CBS Newspath) where he is currently on staff. He has three children and lives in Westlake Village.
